Ubuntu 24.04 LTS, Sudo apt update Error 오류
결론만 말하자면 /etc/apt/sources.list.d 디렉토리 안에 ubuntu.sources 파일을 제외하고 삭제하면 된다.
이전 우분투에서는 ubuntu.sources파일 안의 내용을 주석처리 하라는 등의 여러 튜토리얼이 많아서 시도해 보려고 보니, 최근 우분투에서는 리포지터리 추가 등을 /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ 디렉토리 안에 별도로 관리하는 방식으로 변한것 같다.
따라서 원본 파일 외에는 다 삭제 하는 방법을 시도해 보았으나, 본인의 경우는 루트 권한 문제로 삭제조차 녹녹치 않았다. 그래서 문제가 되는 ubuntu.sources외의 모든 파일을 그냥 gui 환경에서 텍스트 에디터 등으로 열어서 내용만 다 지워 버렸더니 해결되었다.
Solution. Delete all files except ubuntu.sources file in /etc/apt/sources.list.d directory.
In case of permission problem for deletion, just open in Text Editor and erase every text in that file.
Ubuntu sources have moved to the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ubuntu.sources file, which uses the deb822 format. Use deb822-formatted .sources files to manage package sources in the /etc/apt/sources.list.d/ directory. See the sources.list(5) manual page for details.
